How We Got Here
Rudy's opened in 2006 with a simple idea. Cook the food we would want to eat at the end of a long day, and charge a price a family can actually say yes to. That has not changed.
We are still a small team. The same hands that stretch the dough in the morning are the ones boxing your pizza at nine at night, which is exactly why it comes out right.
Tradition, With Room to Play
One side of our menu is strictly old country. Veal Saltimbocca, Chicken Francaise, Seafood Pescatore over linguine, Penne Vodka finished in the pan.
The other side is where we have fun. Butter Paneer and Achari pizzas, Taco pizza, our stuffed pies. The kind of thing a Newark pizzeria only gets to do when it owns its own oven.

We are at 612 Plaza Dr, Newark, DE 19702, in Four Seasons Plaza. A few minutes from Bear, Glasgow, Christiana and the University of Delaware campus, with parking right outside the door.
Monday to Thursday and Sunday we are open 10:00am to 8:45pm. Friday and Saturday we run until 9:45pm.
All orders, from a single pizza to the largest catering tray, carry a $2.50 delivery charge. That covers our 5 mile radius, which takes in most of Newark, Bear, Glasgow and Christiana. Orders outside 5 miles may incur custom prices, quoted before you pay.
Two ways. Call us and one of our own drivers brings the order to your door, or hit any Order Online button on this site to order through Slice, where delivery is handled by their partner drivers. Pickup is available either way.
It is a genuine double crust pie. Filling sealed between two layers of our hand tossed dough, then sauced and baked. The Stuffed Meat Lovers and Stuffed Steak are the two to know about. Allow a little extra baking time.
Plenty. Beyond the classic Margherita and White pies, our Butter Paneer, Paneer Tikka and Achari pizzas, Eggplant Parmigiana, Penne Caprese, Gnocchi Pomodoro and most of our salads are vegetarian.
We do. Beer and wine are on tap for dine in only, so they cannot come along with a delivery or catering order.
We seat groups happily. Call (302) 737 4150 a day ahead for parties of eight or more and we will hold the space.
That is a large part of what we do, for up to 100 guests. Hot pasta trays, appetizer platters, cold sub and wrap trays, salads and pizza by the dozen. Twenty four hours notice is usually enough. See our catering page.
We are a shared oven kitchen, so we cannot promise a gluten free environment. Ask us about the day and we will be straight with you about what we can and cannot guarantee.
Yes, and we would rather you called ahead. Our football specials, 50 wings with a two litre or two large pies with wings, are built for exactly that.
